In business there is a limit to how much hours we can invest in a day. When I say invest I meant to say “hours worked”. Your business is operational from 9-6 or 8-5 every day, so meaning all your employees will only work during those hours.

Sometimes working more than 8 hours is needed but doing this long term could jeopardize our health or our employee’s health and sometimes our social life.

“Younger people sacrifice their health for wealth, when they are older they will sacrifice their wealth for health. “

It’s kinda ironic but that is just the way it is, if you don’t care for your health now in the long run this will bite you in the a**. The most overlooked activity in our daily lives is sleep.

A lot of people are lack of sleep (that includes me) due to work, playing games, travelling, and etc. The fact that lack of sleep can cause us health issues and also mental health problems including psychotic experiences.

So how can we get the most out of our day?

It is quite simple, you just need to know the trends of today and that is going online. There are a lot of ways and strategies to bring your business online.

• You can use social media, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and etc.
• Video marketing through Youtube
• Or build a website for your business/company

Each strategy has its own strength and weaknesses and it depends on your preference but I highly recommend and a must is getting a website first.

But again the benefits of having your business online is that it is operational 24 hours per day compare to the 8 hours local business operation.

Now how cool is that?

If it still doesn’t make sense, let me put this into perspective. We have Oscar and Sharon, they both are Therapist and they run a clinic in the same neighborhood. Both of them are good with their work and very professional, people love them. Both of them are very competitive so Sharon did some research and she decided to build a website and grow her business online.

“There are people that are smarter than you, better than you at everything you do. But don’t be discourage the one who spends a lot more is winner.”

Now back to Oscar and Sharon. So Sharon started to get traffic and getting clients outside of her town as you know a website’s reach is by far the widest of all marketing promotion strategy out there. So she outgrew her competitor Oscar and all therapist that didn’t have a website.

Why?

Because most of her competitors operates only 8 hours per day while her website runs 24 hours per day and Sharon works 8 hours per day as well, so basically her business is operating at 32 hours per day that is insane. She is 24 hours ahead of all her competitors.

That’s how you move up from your competitors, working hard can only get you so far but if you combined working hard and working smart then everything is within reach.
