There are gentler ways to solve a problem #beinspiredtoday www.agnojf.com

Not everything can be solve with force when there are more subtle way to approach things.

When we are stress out and upset we tend to make a big deal of everything even the little ones and I’m guilty of this as well. As much as I can I always try to control my temper but sometimes it gets the best of me and when that happens I always hurt the ones I love the most.

Being self- aware is one of the most powerful skill you must learn and very hard to implement as sometimes it’s because of pride or you just don’t know how to react. When you hurt someone and you are guilty you will feel it in your gut, but how do you react? Do you asked for forgiveness or let it go and tell yourself it is not your fault and he/she deserves it?

I have a small farm and hired a caretaker to take care of things for me while i’m away as I’m only available during the weekends.

The first few months was awesome and he was doing a good job but suddenly his performance declined and started to slack off and I was so frustrated and very upset as I was losing a good amount of money and he was taking advantage of my trust.

During that time if I jumped into conclusions or give in to my anger I could have said things that could hurt and agitate him and that could end bad for both me and the caretaker. So I decided to approach it logically and rationally and started listing possible reasons why he started to slack off. Maybe he has problems or he is in pain emotionally or family issues, or he is not happy with me, or not happy with his salary, or he is not motivate anymore to do the work.

Few years ago jumping to conclusions early was my thing and realized that I needed to change and see the total picture first. It helps me a lot to keep my temper checked and I know when to act as I get to analyze everything first.
